The Bio
Well, here's the inevitable bio page, where I'll tell you
New York. I went to school, I worked, I fell in love, I
fell out of love, and back in love, and so on and so
I attended St. Demetrios Greek American High School
of Astoria for most of my high school years, (Brooklyn
Tech had the honor of schooling me for a while),
followed by a long stint at St. John's University
Jamaica. I recorded my first song, "Who Loves You"
while juggling being a freshman in college, and
working at the local Key Food supermarket. In my
sophomore year at St. John's I joined a fraternity, and
one of my brothers told me about the S.J.U. mixed
chorus. I tried out for it, and received a substantial
grant. During an unfortunate (and unwilling) break
from college life (I was kicked out), I received my first
standing ovation singing a Greek song in a small
coffee house.

After I graduated from S.J.U. with two Bachelor's
degrees in Psychology and General Speech, I went
though one horrible job after another, until I became
the manager of two yoga studios in Manhattan, where
I also received my certification as an instructor. It's a
long story, but I couldn't keep working there.

That year my mother passed away from stomach
cancer, and I also turned vegetarian. Three years prior
to that I had lost 100 pounds. Now I'm quite muscular,
and very proud of it.   In October 2005, my sister had a
brain tumor removed, and went through a follow-up
surgery in December, and she still has a couple to go,
but thank God, she'll be O.K.. I could fill this page with
sob stories, but needless to say, none of these things
killed me, and I'm stronger because of them.

The rest of my life is pretty much summed up in my
music. I would like to thank everyone who has
supported me with love and encouragement in all of
my endeavors and beliefs. I don't know where I'd be
without you guys. You know who you are because I
stay in contact with you (ha ha). The rest of you can
consider a few of my darker songs as dedications to
you.

Finally, I would like to thank God for getting me
through it all thus far, and I pray that He grant the
world an abundance of truth, simplicity, and love.
Amen.
